Alison Ann Sweeney is an American performer, host of a reality television show director, and writer. Sweeney gained fame for her character Samantha Sami Brady (as she was famous on the NBC soap Days of Our Lives) in a role she acted under contract. Sweeney eventually decided she was tired of fads like grapefruit diets and cabbage soups in 1999. She shunned trendy foods like drinking grapefruit or cabbage soup, and adopted healthy lifestyle changes, like cutting out sugary sodas and began exercising in workout classes in the style of boot camp. The results? She lost close to 30 pounds. Sweeney is from Irish origin and is the mother of two brothers. She had studied Economics at UCLA prior to deciding to concentrate in Days of Our Lives. On the 8th of July, the 8th of July, Sweeney was married David Sanov after a relationship of nearly three years. After dating for almost three years, Sweeney and Sanov married on July 8 in 2000. The couple now has two kids. One son was born in February 2005 and a little girl on January 12 in 2009. Alison Victoria (born October 31,1981) is an American actor and TV host.
